The General Sales Manager is expected to:

  • Protect the legal, financial and moral well-being of the dealership;
  • Oversee, manage and direct all operations of the automotive sales and ecommerce departments to achieve maximum production and company objectives, while controlling expenses, inventory management, obtaining profit objectives and achieving customer service benchmarks;
  • Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful.
  • Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service.

    1. Maximum productivity, customer service and profitability.

    • Manage the sales department to achieve company sales goals, customer service satisfaction standards and profitability goals are commensurate with company standards.
    • Ensure the sales process is followed to achieve vehicle sales.
    • Oversee the operational viability of the dealership sales department to maximize customer lead generation and adhere to franchise standards.
    • Achieve dealership market position by staying current on customer buying trends.

    2. Management Reporting and Expense Control.

    • Prepare, monitor, evaluate and communicate strategic reports to dealership management detailing sales and profitability of the department.
    • Assess market conditions to ensure the dealership is positioned to maximize its investment.

    3. Develop Employees.

    • Effectively recruit, hire, train and manage qualified team members to ensure best practices and processes are achieved.
    • Maintain accurate job descriptions and communicate expectations with employees.
    • Be supportive, provide open work atmosphere that promotes teamwork and creativity.
    • Communicate and enforce dealership policies and procedures.
    • Conduct annual performance evaluations of staff.

    4. Operate with integrity:

    • Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others.
    • Set an example of positive attitude and professionalism, including a neat, orderly and safe work environment.
    • Communicate and help resolve customer complaints and adjustments.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 + years of Automotive Sales Management or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of dealerships's current company management systems.
  • Good organization skills.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Maintain valid driver's license and MVR within company policy requirements.
  • Must be insurable.
  • Detail oriented.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work performed in a office and dealership setting.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions precedent at that time.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers and move about facilities.
  • Required vision include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Required to operate equipment and move vehicles in a safe manner at all times.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Transmission Service Technician

Customer satisfaction is a result of your personal work habits and ethics and is of utmost importance as part of your job function.

The Transmission Service Technician is also responsible for setting goals for personal service improvement, and monitor progress against customer satisfaction index numbers and production numbers as provided by the Service Manager. 
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or Factory standards
  • Disassemble, diagnose and repair vehicle transmission
  • Cleaninng and inspection of all parts 
  • Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
  • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
  • Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

As a Transmission Service Technician, you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as a Transmission Technician:

Must have at least 3 years of experience as an transmission technician

Factory Certified preferred

Experience in performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair service on various vehicle makes and models.

Professional appearance and work ethic

Great attitude with a high-energy personality

Superior customer service skills

Ability to read and comprehend instructions

Ability to exercise good judgement

Valid State drivers license and good driving record

Automotive Service Technician

The Service Technician is also responsible for setting goals for personal service improvement, and monitor progress against customer satisfaction index numbers and production numbers as provided by the Service Manager. 

Responsibilities:
 

Primary Responsibilities:
o Correctly troubleshoot customer concerns using the latest administrative and technical tools provided
o Ensure that common courtesy is shown toward all customers you come into contact with
o While in the vicinity of the Service Drive, act as a secondary customer greeter to customers that have not yet been acknowledged
o Keep up to date with all technical publications, Service Comm, and Asist terminal operations
o Make every reasonable effort to ensure safe and honorable vehicle service is delivered as promised the first time
o Address all original customer concerns before moving onto additional sales 
o Inspect every vehicle for additional sales opportunities ensuring that the vehicle is being maintained to the local area and factory recommendation
o Ensure the customers vehicle is returned as clean, or cleaner than when it arrived
o Participate in any Factory, or in-house sponsored training programs offered to you
o Complete all paperwork completely and correctly, then ensure all required shop forms are attached to the RO hard copy
o Perform any other duties assigned by the Service Manager, ASM or Group Leader
o Always come to work on time, ready to work, and in a clean uniform
